Fredericksburg Casual Reunion: October 26-28 2012
Larry Hitt: "A casual reunion! We learned through Maria Burke that the class of ’57 held a weekend reunion last year in Fredericksburg with about 60 in attendance. After looking over their excellent plans, we felt that our class would enjoy a similar format so some of the same events were included for our weekend gathering." The James Davis Collection	Jim took many photos throughout the three days, however these photos concentrate on the dinner at the Herb Farm, which occurred Saturday evening, 27 Oct 2012, and was the highlight of the weekend.
The Larry Hitt Collection	Larry's photos highlight the Becker Vineyards tour, and include photos from the Alamo Springs Cafe, the Herb Farm dinner, and the farewell brunch at the Baron Inn on Sunday morning.

50th Reunion: November 13-15 2009
The 50th Reunion Team received several notes of thanks following the Reunion; here is one: "I wanted to thank each of you for all the hard work, the hours consumed from your lives and the mighty effort expended for our benefit. The 50th Reunion was a great success and would never have happened without all of your endeavors. It was great fun, lots of laughs and even a few tears.... food delicious, except, maybe, the chocolate enchilada... Pre-Reunion Gatherings: 2009

(above) Four Lamar '59 guys: who started 1st grade together at West University Elementary 62 years ago. Ronnie Armer, Jimmy Hubbard, Chris Black and Bill Bennett out on the town at Frank's Chop House in Houston on August 22, 2009. Bill came in from his home near Toronto, Canada. Ronnie came down from his home in New Braunfels and Jimmy came in from his ranch at Brookshire. These guys have kept in touch over the years and get together periodically.

(above) Pandas Unite: Hey, most of these folks ended up going to Bellaire (gag!) however they were all together at Pershing Jr. High as mid-termers. This mini-reunion brunch occurred at Houston's (Bellaire) IHop in October 2009. From left to right:

Post-Reunion Gatherings: 2010

(above) October 23, 2010 - Five Lamar friends who started 1st grade at West University Elementary in 1947 together. Left to Right, Front Row, Jim Hubbard ’59, Ronnie Armer ’59, Rear Row, Bill Bennett ’59, Richard Bass, ’58, Chris Black, ’59. Richard Bass started with us but sped up and graduated Summer of ’58. He was an over achiever. We’re still going strong. Jim Hubbard lives in Brookshire, TX., Ronnie Armer lives in New Braunfels,TX., Bill Bennett lives outside of Toronto, Can., Richard Bass lives in Bay City, TX., and Chris Black lives in Houston, TX. We still try to get together once a year and this was a great occasion to meet in Marble Falls for Ronnie (and Brenda’s) wedding.
